My story
My name is Andréanne and I am a primary care nurse practitioner (IPSPL).
But long before I got to that point, I was a student myself. And I remember very well what it's like to be a nursing student: the workload, the stress, the moments of doubt, the hours spent rereading notes, wondering when everything would finally make sense.
In 2014, I began my nursing program at Cégep de Saint-Jérôme, right after high school. I had great ambitions: to one day become a registered nurse (NP). But I found the journey more difficult than I imagined. During those years, I began to experience anxiety. I really had trouble imagining that one day, I would actually be a nurse. It was sometimes difficult, but I discovered a true passion. I completed my nursing program in 2017, then finished my bachelor's degree in 2020. In the fall of 2022, I began my master's degree, which I successfully completed in December 2024. It was in the spring of 2025 that I officially obtained my NPPL title.
Throughout my studies, I have always been very involved in my studies. From my first sessions of the technique, I created colorful revision cards by hand, less aesthetic than those of today, but made with the same desire for clarity: endless PowerPoints and overloaded textbooks were not for me. In hindsight, I realize that this need to make everything pretty and perfect was wasting precious time... and increasing my mental load without me realizing it.
In 2020, after supporting several interns and CEPIs, I realized how much I enjoyed sharing my knowledge. I sincerely wanted to help future nurses not just pass their exams, but become competent, confident, and well-prepared for practice.
I couldn't find any clear, well-structured, visual resources to support students, so I decided to create them. With my clinical and academic experience, I knew I could create tools that would really help. I wanted to offer more than just educational content: I wanted to create concrete, thoughtful resources to support students at every stage of their journey.
I sincerely hope that our material will provide you with the help you need, save you valuable time, and make your journey a little easier.

The story behind the name Super Nurse
The name Super Nurse does not refer to a superhero, nor does it have an official title.
It's a tribute.
A tribute to all the nurses and nursing students who demonstrate strength, resilience, empathy, and dedication every day.
It's not just the nurse practitioners who should be called "super." It's the ones who work on the floor, who work shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime injuries, etc.
Those who, despite fatigue, mental strain and the challenges of the system, continue to give the best of themselves.
Those who accompany patients in their most vulnerable moments, who listen, who comfort and who hold hands.
For us, the real Super Nurse is you.
